Tribiotic action
A preparation using the synergism of the action of 3 bactericidal antibiotics. Bacitracin is a polypeptide antibiotic that acts mainly on Gram-positive bacteria (including Streptococcus spp.). Neomycin - an aminoglycoside antibiotic - works, among others, on Enterobacteriaceae (especially indole-positive Proteus and Klebsiella spp.) and Staphylococcus aureus. Polymyxin B acts mainly on Gram-negative bacteria, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacteriaceae.

Tribiotic dosage
A small amount of ointment is applied 1-3 times a day to the cleansed injured area. It is not recommended to use for longer than 7 days.

Tribiotic contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation, severe kidney failure, damage to the hearing organ. Use very carefully on large areas of damaged skin (over 20% of the body surface), oozing lesions and varicose ulcers; do not use for a long time due to the developing resistance of bacteria and the possibility of toxic effects and superinfection with yeasts. Use during pregnancy only if the expected benefits outweigh the potential risk to the fetus.

Composition
Active substance: 1 sachet (1 g of ointment) contains 10 mg of bacitracin in the form of zinc salt, 5 mg of neomycin in the form of sulfate and 0.833 mg of polymyxin B in the form of sulfate.
